1. Do I need any previous experience to enrol in the Level 2 Chainsaw course?
Yes - must have previously completed AHCMOM213 Operate and Maintain Chainsaws (within past 5 years) or can complete on same day as Level 2 chainsaw training
2. How long does the Level 2 Chainsaw course take?
The training is typically completed in one day and includes both theory and practical components.
3. What qualification will I receive after completing the course?
Successful participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for AHCPCM205 – Fell small trees
4. What do I need to bring to the training?
You’ll need to wear appropriate PPE (long pants, long sleeves, safety boots). We can supply hearing protection, eye protection, chainsaw chaps and helmets.
5. What is the maximum number of participants per course?
5 people
6. Do you provide the chainsaw and equipment?
Yes – we can provide a chainsaw as well as chaps, ear muffs, safety glasses or you can use your own chainsaw/equipment.
