Level 1 Chainsaw Training FAQs

1. Do I need any previous experience to enrol in the Level 1 Chainsaw course?
No prior experience is required. The course is designed for beginners as well as those who want to refresh their skills.

2. How long does the Level 1 Chainsaw course take?
The course is typically completed in one day and includes theory, practical training and assessment.

3. What qualification will I receive after completing the course?
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for AHCMOM213 – Operate and maintain chainsaws.

4. What do I need to bring to the training?
You’ll need to wear appropriate clothing and PPE, including long sleeve clothing and safety boots. We can supply hearing protection, eye protection, chainsaw chaps and helmets..

5. What is the maximum number of participants per course?
We generally limit Level 1 Chainsaw Training to a maximum of 6 participants to allow plenty of practical training time and individual instruction.


6. Do you provide the chainsaw and equipment?
Yes. We can provide chainsaws and the required chainsaw PPE for training. Participants are also welcome to bring their own chainsaw and equipment if preferred.

 

7. Can you provide onsite chainsaw training?

Yes. We can arrange onsite Level 1 Chainsaw Training for businesses, rural properties and groups across South East Queensland. Contact us to discuss participant numbers, location and availability.
