During this course, you will learn how to:

Plan and prepare for tree felling, including site assessment, hazard identification, and risk control measures.

1. Do I need Level 1 Chainsaw training before Level 2?
Yes. AHCMOM213 – Operate and maintain chainsaws is a prerequisite for AHCPCM205 – Fell small trees. If you haven't completed Level 1, you can book our Level 1 + Level 2 Chainsaw package and complete both courses together.
2. How long does the Level 2 Chainsaw course take?
Level 2 Chainsaw training is typically completed in one day, including theory, practical training and assessment.
3. What certification will I receive after completing the course?
On successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for AHCPCM205 – Fell small trees.
4. What do I need to bring to the training?
You'll need to wear suitable work clothing, including long pants, long sleeves and safety boots. We can supply hearing protection, eye protection, chainsaw chaps and helmets.
5. What is the maximum number of participants per course?
Courses are generally limited to a maximum of 5 participants to allow adequate time for practical training and assessment.
6. Do you provide the chainsaw and equipment?
Yes. We can provide chainsaws and the equipment required for training. Participants are also welcome to discuss bringing their own chainsaw where appropriate.
